Nothing gets you in the holiday spirit like a LIVE musical holiday show. This year, celebrating these performances in our own homes is the best way to keep our holiday entertainment alive and vibrant! Songs we all know and love are the right medicine to brush away those holiday doldrums and put you in the holiday spirit. Laura Wazen’s jazzy vocal style pairs perfectly with the excellent musicians in the Dan Dembicki Trio. Laura has selected songs that we can all know and love, so feel free to sing along! She is excited to sing a beautiful Hanukkah song with lyrics that really speak to the importance of traditions and lasting friendships, as well as a Christmas Carol that is one of Laura’s favorites. Treat yourself to a wonderful concert that will bring love, peace and happiness to your holiday season!
Her band is composed of great musicians, who like Laura have been playing music their whole life. What is better than the bass? Bart Delarmi plays the bass with such a wonderful groove and feel. Dan Dembicki is the pianist, and he really knows how to use all ten fingers and all 88 keys! Piano chords form a rich fat pad for Laura's voice to float over top of. Other times, Laura’s ear draws to the drums which is the heartbeat of the music. For this concert, Laura has two drummers! Scott Blum will be playing the first half of the show, and then Jack Wazen will play on the second half, with each drummer enriching the band with their own unique style.
