Pamela Clay will lift your heart into Summer and chase all your blues away with “Sailing into Summer”, a delightful musical potpourri of soulful, swinging songs from Judy, Ella and Edith Piaf (sung in French), along with a dash of Bing, Kiki and all-original rock from her New Orleans-flavored rock band, Catahoula. Cabaret Scenes magazine’s Elliot Zweibach called Pamela Clay: “A powerhouse performer whose style crosses all genres”, Lou Rawls said she’s got one of the best voices he’d ever heard, and Mr. Richard Blackwell wrote: “Her voice will leave you mesmerized”. Pamela has headlined at such venues as Feinstein’s 54 Below in NY, Feinstein’s at Vitello’s in Studio City, Herb Alpert’s Vibrato, Catalina Jazz Club, Wilshire-Ebell and more, and presented her first one-woman show at JFK Center in Washington, D.C., “Passions et Tendresses” (Passion & Tenderness), accompanied by Ramon Ballve at the piano. Her French compositions are licensed under Warner-Chappell, and Catahoula’s under Red Queen Music, a subsidiary of Harry Warren Publishing. Pamela will perform “Sailing into Summer” broadcast LIVE from her home in the Hollywood Hills, singing to brilliantly recorded and mastered tracks with her long-time musical director, David Moscoe at the piano, Catahoula’s “Emperor”, Lindsay Gillis on lead guitar, and Bruce Bermudez, Pamela’s New Orleans-born artist-musician husband and Catahoula co-founder joining in live on vocals. All ticket buyers will be able to view “Sailing into Summer” on Pamela’s private YouTube channel shortly after broadcast, if unable to attend live.
