THE 2021 BENJAMIN HOUSE HOLIDAY BENEFIT RETURNS!
Six-Time Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs (MAC) Award winner, Eric Michael Gillett returns to celebrate the season and to honor the incredible gifts that Benjamin House brings daily to the lives of all they serve in Elizabeth City, NC. “Once Upon a Christmas” will once again offer a much-needed dose of holiday cheer, with songs of the season, of inspiration, of family, and, most especially, of joy and goodwill.
The enormous success of the 2020 Benjamin House Online Holiday Benefit has inspired a brand new twist on last season’s concert. Streaming live direct from New York City and the MetropolitanZoom Studio, the line-up of talent includes both audience favorites from past concerts as well as a generous serving of talented performers from the stage, screen, and the recording studio. Among the amazing cast, Eric Michael has gathered are Musical Director Dan Furman, returning guests Bonne Kramer, Arthur L. Ross, Billy Shaw, Cookie Stark, Melanie Vaughan, and Robin Westle. Joining them will be the acclaimed vocal groups Marquee Five and Those Girls. Also on board to entertain and inspire are recording artists Vienna Carroll and Christine Reisner, as well as Broadway’s original Sandy from Grease, Carole Demas, who is also a veteran of multiple commercials, prime time television roles, and, most especially, her children’s tv program, “The Magic Garden.” Rounding out the cast are Broadway’s J. Nycole Ralph (Book of Mormon), along with acclaimed vocalists Aaron Lee Battle, Sierra Rein, Josephine Sanges, Stacey Weckstein, Carolyn Popp, and, with a special reading from “A
Christmas Carol,” David Sitler.
